I hear you guys on the snatch. Hopefully coach B’s video below will help you in mastering it. As far as shoulder issues and tightness, that is not a technique issue, that is a mobility issue and should be worked daily. MobilityWOD.com. The key is to work up to a weight, just because it is a max does not mean you can have crappy form. Perfect form = max, anything else is unacceptable and do not count it for yourself.

Also these max efforts are about going at max effort to tax your CNS and get your prepared and ready to handle heavy loads regularly.  If you do not set a new PR every week…that means you are human.

    Took my time and payed attention to my form. Need 2 work on getting my hips in posistion quicker and more mobile. Did shoulder dislocates seemed to help me with the tightness in the chest/ shoulder area. Found a couple vids by usa lifting that helped on the snatch. Step by step break down of the movement.

    No improvement but worked on my form and feel good bout where I’m at.
